Hi5 Dental
Hi5 Dental is a modern pediatric dental clinic built on the principles of gentleness, empathy, and high-quality service. The clinic’s experienced professionals understand the importance of a child’s first visit to the dentist and do everything possible to ensure that both the first and subsequent visits are stress-free and fear-free.
Development Goals
- Prepare parents and children for the first visit by thoroughly addressing common concerns — from pricing to the atmosphere in the clinic.
- Establish the clinic's image as a safe and friendly place for children.
- Develop a user-friendly appointment booking tool.
- Ensure that people with disabilities can comfortably and fully use the website.
The website design uses soft blue tones, which help create a sense of calm and trust. The visuals are complemented by character illustrations that resemble children's pencil drawings. It was important to strike a balance between professionalism and a playful child-friendly aesthetic, so the website feels like a place where kids feel safe and comfortable.
Micro-animations and interactive elements
We enhanced the design with light animations and interactive elements to create a pleasant and engaging user experience.
Simple booking form
We placed a clear call to action — to book an appointment — in the header and other key areas of the site, linking to a simple booking form.
Menu
We focused on making navigation intuitive and user-friendly. In addition to standard links to services and sections, the dropdown menu highlights the clinic's guarantee and includes video instructions on how to reach the clinic.
Service Pages
Each service has its own landing page, where parents can find detailed information on how to prepare for the procedure, what equipment and materials will be used, who will treat the child, and what results to expect.
Team
A separate section is dedicated to Hi5 Dental’s doctors. Each specialist’s education and experience are described in detail. We also include some personal insights and links to their social media profiles. This helps parents see the doctors not only as medical professionals but also as empathetic individuals.
Pricing
The site features a detailed pricing section. This helps parents plan their budget in advance and avoid unexpected costs.
Accessibility
The site complies with accessibility principles, making it usable for people with hearing, vision, and motor impairments.
During development, we followed WAI-ARIA standards, which ensure full keyboard and screen reader navigation.
WAI-ARIA allows complex interface elements (such as buttons or dropdown menus) to be understandable to users with disabilities. For elements that may not be recognized by default assistive technologies, we added ARIA attributes to the HTML code so that screen readers can explain what each element does.
Mobile Adaptation
Since many parents search for clinics via mobile devices, we made sure the website is fully responsive and convenient to use both on desktops and smartphones.
